Mangalore: City's first ARMC IVF centre inaugurated at Falnir

Mangalore, Jun 1: The ARMC IVF test tube baby and 4D scanning centre, the first in the city, was inaugurated at Falnir here on Saturday June 1.

Dr N Vinay Hegde, president, Nitte Education Trust, along with other dignitaries, inaugurated the centre by lighting the lamp.

In his address, Dr Vinay Hegde said that a family can be called good only if there are children. "Family without children is considered to be unfortunate, in general. Many new concepts and researches in IVF programme have been carried out in the recent days. As a result of these researches, the success rate has reached to 65 percent in the present day, as against 35 percent sometime back."

He further added, "A network buildup among the various medical institutons is a must to share the results of the new researches and thereby enable the overall success of healthcare sector."

Lakshmi Kumar, DGM-corporate communication, MRPL was the guest of honour.
