Mumbai, Oct 18: Actor Jackie Shroff took a trip down memory lane as he celebrated the milestones of two films, marking 41 years of his 1985 release ‘Teri Meherbaniyaa’ and 30 years of Dev Anand-starrer ‘Return of Jewel Thief’.
The actor took to Instagram Stories to commemorate the anniversaries, sharing nostalgic moments from the two films.
Shroff first shared the poster of ‘Teri Meherbaniyaa’, directed by Vijay Reddy and released in 1985. The film also featured Poonam Dhillon and a dog named Brownie.

The film was a remake of director Vijay Reddy’s own 1984 Kannada film ‘Thaliya Bhagya’, starring Shankar Nag. The story was also adapted into other South Indian languages, with Telugu, Malayalam and Tamil versions titled ‘Nammina Bantu’, ‘Ithente Neethi’ and ‘Nandri’, respectively.
Shroff subsequently shared a photograph of himself with veteran actor Dev Anand from their 1996 film ‘Return of Jewel Thief’, marking three decades since its release.
