IMJ Institutions conduct orientation programme for health science courses

Kundapura, Oct 8: An orientation programme for the Health Science courses at Moodlakatte IMJ Institutions was held on October 7. The programme marked the inauguration of the 7th batch of BSc nursing, 3rd batch of allied health sciences, and 2nd batch of physiotherapy .

Prof Jennifer Frieda Menezes, principal of Moodlakatte College of Nursing, welcomed the dignitaries, faculty members and students.

The programme was inaugurated by the chief guest, Prof Dr Mohammed Suhail PT, who delivered the inaugural address. He highlighted the importance of professionalism, compassion, dedication and commitment in the healthcare sector. He appreciated the efforts of IMJ Institutions in providing quality education, modern facilities and a student-friendly learning environment aimed at nurturing competent and compassionate healthcare professionals.

The programme was presided over by Dr S N Bhat, director of academics, IMJ Institutions. In his presidential address, he spoke about the significance of health science courses and the opportunities available to students at IMJ Institutions.

Prof Jennifer Frieda Menezes, principal, Moodlakatte College of Nursing, and Prof Hemalatha, principal, Allied Health Sciences, were present.

Prof Hemalatha proposed the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the dignitaries, faculty members, students and all those who contributed to the successful conduct of the programme.

The programme was compered by Sushma Upadhyaya and concluded with the national anthem.
