Bantwal: House, cattle shed of accused seized in illegal cow slaughter case

Bantwal, Jun 9: The town police here have seized the house and cattle shed belonging to an accused in connection with an illegal cow slaughter case at Kolake–Panjaje in Sajipamuda village.

The seizure was carried out in connection with Bantwal Town police station crime no. 68/2026 registered under Sections 4, 7 and 12 of the Karnataka Prevention of Slaughter and Preservation of Cattle Act, 2020.

Police seized the house and cattle shed belonging to the accused, Mustafa, located at Kolake-Panjaje in Sajipamuda village, the place where the offence was allegedly committed. The action was taken under Section 8(1) of the Karnataka Prevention of Slaughter and Preservation of Cattle Act, 2020.

Following the seizure, the police have submitted a report to the sub-divisional magistrate, Mangaluru, for further action.
