Mumbai, Oct 2: The release date of Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan-starrer ‘Udta Teer’ has been changed, with the film now set to hit theatres on October 23 instead of October 9.
The film's team said the decision was taken to provide the movie with a cleaner release window and a stronger theatrical run amid a crowded marketplace. The trailer and ongoing promotions have reportedly generated encouraging buzz around the film.

Talking about the movie, Ayushmann Khurrana said ‘Udta Teer’ marks his return to original and unconventional content.
In the film, Ayushmann plays a Pakistani spy who loses his memory. Despite retaining a sense of patriotism, he forgets which country he belongs to and ends up supporting India. The actor described the movie as a pro-India patriotic comedy that blends different genres and is suitable for family audiences.
‘Udta Teer’ marks the directorial debut of Akash A Kaushik and features Sara Ali Khan, Rahul Bose, Ram Kapoor, Suhail Nayyar, Gulshan Grover, Mukul Dev, Raghubir Yadav, Brijendra Kala, Sandeep Anand, Supriya Pilgaonkar and Smita Tambe.
