Daijiworld Media Network – Beltangady

Beltangady, Mar 19: 17-year-old minor boy studying in a private educational institution within the limits of Beltangady police station had gone to a fair along with his school friends on the evening of March 11.

During this time, some individuals present at the fair objected to the boy’s presence, alleging that a boy from another religion had come to the fair along with girls of their religion. They allegedly assaulted and abused the boy. Further, they took him away from the fair on a bike, assaulted him again, and forced him to record a video statement admitting that he had committed a mistake at the fair, before letting him go.
