Udupi: Young man ends life after leaving death note near Shankarpura

Udupi, Mar 13: A young man working as a cook allegedly ended his life after leaving behind a death note near the Salmara Catering Shed in Shankarpura.

The deceased has been identified as Gautham Poojary.

The incident came to light when the deceased’s body was found in a room near the Salmara Catering Shed. He is suspected to have taken his life after writing a death note. The exact cause of death is not yet known.

He was unmarried and was said to be working as a head cook in a catering establishment. Gautham, who was a socialite, was active in various local organizations.

Shirva police visited the scene and are investigating.
