Doha, Feb 10: The much-awaited mega brass band event, “Pepere Pepe Dum – Season 3,” will be held in Doha, Qatar on April 17, 2026. The event is being organised by Mangalore Cricket Club (MCC) Qatar, in association with Ami Ani Amchin, Mangaluru.

In view of this grand event, the official launch ceremony took place on February 4 at 7:30 pm at ICC Mumbai Hall. The programme was compered by MCC Advisor Reena Castelino.

The dignitaries on the dais included MCC founder member & advisor Jerald D’Mello, president Denzil Christine Lobo, vice president Ryan Renjar, general secretary Renzil Jaison D’Souza, and cultural secretary Primal Vivin Pinto.

The programme commenced with a prayer conducted by Advisor Sunil D’Silva, invoking God’s blessings for the successful launch and the upcoming mega event. President Denzil Christine Lobo welcomed the gathering and sought the continued cooperation and support of members, as always, to make this event a grand success, following the legacy of previous MCC events.

The compère Reena Castelino briefed the audience about the Pepere Pepe Dum Brass Band Contest, including the rules and regulations for Season 3 and also mentioned the reel challenge introduced to promote the event at a global level. Immediate past president Naveen D’Souza conducted the draw of lots for various categories, which included team names, directors, coordinators, song selection for each round, and the performance sequence.

A video message from Denis D’Silva, president of Ami Ani Amchin, Mangaluru, was played during the event. The programme concluded with a prayer conducted by Advisor Riana Pinto, thanking the Almighty for the successful launch and praying for the success of the upcoming event.

As preparations begin for this mega brass band event, the MCC executive committee seeks the wholehearted cooperation and support of all members and the community to ensure the grand success of Pepere Pepe Dum – Season 3.
