Mumbai, Dec 14: Telugu star Samantha Ruth Prabhu and filmmaker Raj Nidimoru were spotted together for the first time after their wedding as they arrived in Mumbai on Saturday, drawing attention from fans and paparazzi alike.

The newlyweds were seen leaving the Mumbai airport dressed in casual attire. Samantha looked elegant in a grey sweater paired with black trousers, while Raj opted for a sea-green T-shirt, blue jeans and a black denim jacket. The couple acknowledged the photographers with smiles, with Samantha appearing visibly cheerful as they headed towards their car.

Samantha and Raj tied the knot on December 1 in an intimate ceremony held at the Isha Foundation in Coimbatore. The wedding was attended by close friends and family members. Samantha later confirmed the marriage on social media, sharing glimpses from the ceremony, which was conducted as a Linga Bhairava Vivaha.

This marks Samantha’s second marriage. She was previously married to actor Naga Chaitanya from 2017 to 2021. Raj Nidimoru had married Shhyamali De in 2015, and the two are believed to have separated in 2022.

Speculation about Samantha and Raj’s relationship began in 2024 after they were spotted together at multiple public events. Though the duo remained largely private, Samantha’s social media posts featuring Raj fuelled rumours of their romance.

The two first collaborated on the popular web series The Family Man Season 2, where Samantha played a pivotal role under the direction of Raj and DK. They later worked together on Citadel: Hunny Bunny, the Indian adaptation of the American series Citadel. Samantha is next set to appear in Rakht Brahmand: The Bloody Kingdom, another ambitious project directed by Raj and DK, slated for release in 2026.
