Bambolim, Nov 3: Kerala Blasters FC delivered a commanding performance to outclass Sporting Club Delhi 3–0 in their Group D clash of the AIFF Super Cup 2025–26 at the GMC Stadium on Monday.
All three goals came in a ruthless first-half display — a brace from Spanish forward Koldo Obieta (17’, 23’) and a stunning acrobatic strike from Korou Singh Thingujam (34’) sealed an emphatic win for the Blasters.
With back-to-back victories, Kerala Blasters lead the group with six points, putting them firmly on course for the semifinals, while the defeat confirmed SC Delhi’s exit from the tournament.

From the outset, David Català’s side dominated proceedings with fluid passing, sharp pressing, and creative interplay. They nearly struck early when Adrián Luna’s corner met Juan Rodríguez, whose header clattered off the crossbar.
The breakthrough came in the 17th minute after a defensive lapse from Delhi’s Ayush Adhikari, whose misjudged back pass was pounced upon by Obieta, who slotted home coolly past goalkeeper Vishal Yadav.
Obieta doubled the lead six minutes later, finishing off a crisp move involving Korou Singh and Nihal Sudheesh, skipping past defenders before slotting into the bottom corner.
Kerala’s third goal was the highlight of the match — Luna’s lofted pass into the box found Korou Singh, who finished acrobatically to make it 3–0.
Delhi showed some resistance after the break, tightening their defence and pressing higher, but the damage had already been done. Augustine Lalrochana came close late on, only to be denied by a fine save from Nora Fernandes, preserving Kerala’s clean sheet.
The win showcased Kerala Blasters’ blend of flair and discipline — a performance that reaffirmed their status as early favourites for the Super Cup title.
