Mangaluru, Aug 18: St Agnes PU College organized a career guidance programme, ‘Career Expo 2025’ for the students of commerce ands arts and their parents on August 18 in collaboration with ‘Draw my Career’ team. The programme aimed at guiding students to make informed choices about their future studies and career paths.
A distinguished panel of experts from ‘Draw my Career’, Naveen Paul and team conducted the session with engaging presentations and interactive activities. They introduced students to a wide spectrum of career options in fields such as commerce, management, law, chartered accountancy, company secretaryship, economics, journalism, social sciences, public administration and civil services.





















They also emphasized emerging areas like digital marketing, entrepreneurship, and creative arts. The resource persons guided students on the qualifications, skills, and aptitude required for different professions. The interactive session encouraged students and their parents to ask questions, helping them gain clarity about higher education courses, entrance exams, and career prospects. For personal assessment a practical session was conducted for each student in the computer science lab which helped students identify professions that best suited their personality traits.
The programme was coordinated by the departments of computer science, statistics and humanities. Shubhavani, HOD of the computer science delivered the welcome speech, Olivia Patrao dean and HOD, department of humanities compered the programme while Pratheeksha from II HEPP proposed the vote of thanks.
The ‘Career Expo 2025’ programme proved to be highly beneficial, motivating students to plan their academic and professional journey with clarity and confidence. The college expressed gratitude to the resource persons and faculty for their efforts in making the event a success.
