Mangaluru, Dec 16: The 9th Annual Day celebration of SMR Public School, titled “Excellentia”, was celebrated with great enthusiasm and dignity. The programme marked a significant milestone in the school’s journey towards academic excellence and holistic development.
The event was inaugurated by Dr U T Iftikar Ali, whose esteemed presence added grace to the occasion. He was also Felicitated in the same occsion along with Zakaria Jokatte.
The celebration was further honoured by the presence of the chief guests: Dr Akhtar Hussain, P Moosabba Beary, Zakaria Jokatte, and Dr T M Abdul Rahuf. Their encouraging words inspired the students and appreciated the efforts of the institution in the field of education.











The programme was also graced by the guests of honour: Abdul Nasir, Ibrahim Gadiyar, Razak Golthamajal, Sali Koya, Arshad Hussain, Ismail Balanoor, Feroz Bawa, Sahul Hameed, Abubakkar, Hameed K Mani, Abdul Majeed (principal, Melkar Women’s College), and Abdul Lathief (ex-principal, Melkar Women’s College).
The annual report of the school was read by headmistress Fathimathul Zaheera highlighting the achievements and progress of the institution during the academic year.
The presidential address was delivered by the respected chairman of SMR Public School, Dr Haji S M Rasheed. In his address, he highlighted the importance of education in shaping the future of students and stressed the need for discipline, dedication, and consistent effort to achieve 100% academic results.
Rifath Ahmed secretary of SMR Public School and PTA president Sandeep Kumar were present.
Mamatha and Renny Fernandes were the masters of ceremony. The welcome address was delivered by Ainsha, and the programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Nishath.
The annual day celebration reflected the collective efforts of students and teachers and the school’s commitment to quality education and all-round development. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all the attendees for making the event a grand success.
