Udupi: Two juvenile boys go missing from government observation home

Udupi, July 14: Two boys housed at the government boys' observation home in Udupi have gone missing since Sunday afternoon.

The missing boys have been identified as Dileep (14), a student of Gyan Mandir Government School, Bengaluru, and Dhanaraj (13), a resident of Rajeshwari Nagar Garden, Kumaraswamy Layout, Bengaluru.

According to officials, both boys were admitted to the institution through the reception centre on July 7. On July 13 at around 1.40 pm, the duo allegedly escaped through the corridor door of the facility.

A complaint in this regard has been lodged by Pramod, a caretaker at the observation home. Udupi women police station has registered a case.
