Mangaluru, Aug 21: The Samavartana–2026 (graduation ceremony) of Yenepoya Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital, Naringana, an affiliated institution of Yenepoya (Deemed to be University), was held on Tuesday, August 18, at the university’s Yendurance Zone.
Dr M B Puranik, co-founder and president of Sharada Group of Institutions, attended the programme as the chief guest. Dr Ashwini Dath R, registrar of Yenepoya University, was present as the guest of honour.




The programme was inaugurated by the chief guest, Dr M B Puranik, and the guest of honour, Dr Ashwini Dath R, by lighting the traditional lamp. On the occasion, Dr M B Puranik congratulated the students, guided them on the importance of ethical values, and conferred degrees upon the graduating students.
The ceremony was presided over by Dr Gururaj H., principal and medical superintendent of the college.
A total of 94 students, who were admitted in the 2020 batch and successfully completed their Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) programme, were officially conferred their degrees during the ceremony.
The programme was attended by a large number of teaching and non-teaching staff of the college, graduating students, and their parents.
