Mumbai, Jul 9: Actors Brijendra Kala and Makrand Deshpande unveiled the trailer of the upcoming musical drama Jaan Abhi Baaki Hai, a film set in the scenic hills of Uttarakhand that blends romance with self-discovery.

Directed by Satyajeet and produced by IJM Productions, the story follows a young man whose love for a tourist girl leads him on an emotional and philosophical journey. The film features a strong ensemble cast including Pranjal Shandilya, Swapnil Singh, Rajesh Jais, Rohit Pathak, and the late Bikramjeet Kanwarpal.

Speaking at the launch, Makrand Deshpande described the film as “a different kind of love story—one that fuses science, spirituality, and emotion,” praising director Satyajeet’s clarity and vision.

Brijendra Kala, meanwhile, remained tight-lipped about his role but called the experience memorable, especially filming in the natural beauty of Uttarakhand. “Everything from the story to the characters feels fresh and new,” he added.

The movie was shot over 100 days in the remote Himalayan regions and features a rich musical score by Mahesh Matkar. The soundtrack boasts performances by a lineup of popular singers, including Jubin Nautiyal, Asees Kaur, Palak Muchhal, Javed Ali, Harshdeep Kaur, and many others.

Jaan Abhi Baaki Hai is set to hit theatres on August 1, 2025.
