Mangaluru: Car catches fire after hitting electric pole following dog encounter

Mangaluru, July 2: In a late-night incident on June 30, a car caught fire after hitting an electric pole near the industrial area of Ganjimutt on the outskirts of Mangaluru.

According to reports, the accident occurred around 2 am near Narlapadavu when a car travelling from Mogarukatte towards Ganjimutt lost control after a dog suddenly crossed its path.

The vehicle rammed into an electric pole, causing the air-conditioning unit to explode and the car to catch fire.

The car was completely gutted in the blaze. Fortunately, the driver managed to escape unhurt. It is learnt that the car belonged to a person from Kolambe and was a tourist vehicle.

    Lets speak the truth.Am sure many people have come across dogs on the way and all exploded?Air condition exploded means air condition was on for long time and was very hot?When one runs car for long time and aircondition was running all the time certainly gets heated ,and Car hits with high speed to Electric Pole was then not exploded.Thank God no persons were injured.Can buy another car but a person.

    As per superstitious or blind belief, when a black cat happens to cross our patha mishap is bound to occur. Here it was a Dog.

    Day or night if people drive within speed limits you will reach destination safely, do not blame dog , cat Majority of the accidents happen because one is driving at high speed .
