London, Jun 24: British-Indian actor Simone Ashley turned heads at the London premiere of F1: The Movie on Monday, even though her role was completely edited out of the final cut. Directed by Joseph Kosinski, the much-anticipated sports drama had once been billed as Ashley’s Hollywood breakthrough.

The Bridgerton star, known for her poise and elegance, made a powerful statement by attending the event in a stunning gold Balmain gown at Cineworld Leicester Square. She smiled gracefully for the cameras and posed on the red carpet, earning admiration from fans and fashion watchers alike.

While director Kosinski confirmed her scenes didn’t make it to the final version, fans on social media applauded her for showing up with dignity and style. On Reddit, one user wrote, “She really said I’m going and I’m gonna be the hottest one there.” Another added, “She slayed in that gold! A true queen.”

Despite speculation that her appearance may have been part of a contract, fans praised her for going beyond the expected. “Good on her for slaying and not just doing the bare minimum,” read a comment. Another noted, “Her being cut made way more noise than they expected, I bet.”

F1: The Movie features a star-studded cast including Kerry Condon, Damson Idris, Javier Bardem, and Lewis Hamilton. The film races into theatres on June 27.
