Colorado Springs, May 25: A late-night argument escalated into gunfire in Colorado Springs on Saturday, leaving six people injured, including one critically, police said in a statement released Sunday morning.

The shooting occurred shortly after 11 pm in a neighborhood northeast of downtown. According to the Colorado Springs Police Department, multiple 911 calls reported a disturbance involving gunshots. On arrival, officers discovered several individuals suffering from gunshot wounds.

Four victims were transported to hospitals by ambulance, while two others arrived at emergency rooms using private vehicles. Authorities confirmed that one victim remains in critical condition, while the others are reported to be stable.

The police stated the incident began as an argument between several individuals, which quickly spiraled into a shooting. As of now, no arrests have been made, and investigators are still determining whether all victims have been identified.

Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward and assist with the ongoing investigation.
