Mumbai, Aug 16: Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan turned 56 on Sunday, with his wife and actor Kareena Kapoor marking the occasion by sharing a series of unseen pictures from their recent vacation.
Kareena, who frequently gives fans glimpses of Saif despite the actor largely staying away from social media, posted several photographs on Instagram along with a heartfelt birthday message for her husband. She also revealed that the pictures had been "approved by Saif".
In one of the photographs, Kareena and Saif are seen enjoying the ocean and cool breeze on a boat, with Kareena clicking a selfie. Another picture shows the couple posing together, with Kareena in a white bikini and Saif dressed in a white shirt and red shorts.

The vacation pictures also offered glimpses of the couple's long drive and Saif's moments with their sons. One photograph showed him walking alongside their children as they enjoyed the sunset, while the final picture captured the couple posing for a mirror selfie inside a lift.
Sharing the photographs, Kareena wrote, "Happy Birthday to my forever ride or die… how boring would life be without you… This insta post pictures are all approved by him loves it when I post his pictures."
Kareena also added the song 'Dil Dance Maare' from their 2008 film Tashan to the post. The film is particularly significant for the couple as it brought them closer and marked the beginning of their relationship.
Saif's sister Saba Pataudi also wished him on his birthday, commenting, "Happy birthday bhai. Have an awesome one. Lots of Love."
The photographs delighted fans, with several describing Saif and Kareena as one of the coolest couples in Bollywood and praising the vacation pictures and Kareena's choice of song.
Saif and Kareena fell in love while working together on Tashan. Their relationship attracted considerable media attention, particularly because Saif was previously married to actor Amrita Singh, with whom he has two children, Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan.
The couple married on October 16, 2012, in an intimate ceremony at Saif's Bandra residence in Mumbai. They welcomed their first son, Taimur Ali Khan, in December 2016 and their second son, Jeh Ali Khan, in February 2021.
On the work front, Saif will next be seen in Haiwaan, directed by Priyadarshan and co-starring Akshay Kumar. The film marks the reunion of Saif and Akshay nearly 18 years after their previous collaboration. While Akshay plays the antagonist, Saif portrays a visually challenged man. Haiwaan is scheduled to release in theatres on September 11.
Kareena, meanwhile, will star in Meghna Gulzar's Daayra alongside Prithviraj Sukumaran. The film is scheduled to hit theatres on September 18.
