New Delhi / Bengaluru, Dec 12: The suicide of techie Atul Subhash in Bengaluru has shocked the nation, triggering widespread outrage and sparking a social media movement with hashtags like #JusticeForAtulSubhash and #BengaluruSuicideCase trending across platforms.

Atul’s death, allegedly due to family disputes, has prompted strong reactions, with calls for justice from across the country. On social media, many users have expressed frustration with India’s judicial system, calling for reforms and gender equality. Some are also demanding the removal of Atul’s wife from her job, following allegations raised in his death note.

A 90-minute video recorded by Atul before his suicide has gone viral, where he appealed for action, stating, “A massacre is happening in India. Save the people, restore free speech.”

In the video, Atul had also sought help from US president Donald Trump and Tesla CEO Elon Musk.

In response to the allegations made in Atul’s death note, Sushil, the brother of Atul’s wife, Nikitha, has denied any wrongdoing.

Speaking for the first time about the case, Sushil stated, “I have been wrongly implicated. There is no truth to the allegations. Nikitha and her family are fully aware of the details surrounding the suicide.” He further added that Nikitha, once she returns to the village, will address all the concerns.

The case has intensified with police filing charges based on a complaint by Atul's brother, Vikas Kumar. The complaint names Atul's wife, her mother, brother, and cousin in connection with the suicide.

While Bengaluru police have intensified their investigation, the case has struck a chord nationwide, with many rallying for justice in Atul’s name.

this guy trusted more in trump and musk than his vishwa guru. Looks like he needed counselling. It reminds me of a dialogue by Arshad warsi - Kaun hai I yeh log aur kahan se aathe yea’.

What law will be made by the illiterate law makers. We have elected them to do the laws as they like for their benefit and not for the public. Next time elect who knows the sacred constitution of India.

Govt is not interested in all this. Govt will only focus on non existent issues like triple talaq to punish a community and create a stereotype on basis of falsehood. Cultural crimes are portrayed as issues with divine laws

Unfortunately men and women don't have equal rights, equal pay and equal justice in India. Some are towards men and some are towards women, There must be a balance in all of these things like in many developed nations. In India the fair rule is not played out most of the times, it depends on gender, religion or the color! Sad but true. This needs to be changed for a better civilized society

Why did he not file any police complaint???….Why he didn’t file court case??????? His wife has filed police complaint. What justice he is expecting when he himself is not alive and present as plaintiff or defendant?????….Now whoever is alive and present they will fight the case without any much resistance with all evidences, proofs no witnesses. Childish behaviour.
