Gulf Medical University appoints Dr Edmond Fernandes as adjunct lecturer at College of Medicine

Ajman, Apr 19: Dr Edmond Fernandes, founder and CEO, CHD Group and chief coordinator – MPH programme, department of public health, Yenepoya (Deemed to be University), has been appointed as adjunct lecturer of community medicine at the College of Medicine, Gulf Medical University (GMU), Ajman, UAE in accordance with the commission for academic accreditation, ministry of education, United Arab Emirates.

Dr Fernandes has impacted over 3 million lives through his work in community medicine and public health and also has to his credit 3 books, 21 research publications and more than 250 articles written in the national and international media.

Additionally, he also serves as honorary director at the Edward & Cynthia Institute of Public Health (ECIPH) in Mangaluru and is an alumnus of the US State Department.
