Kadaba, Feb 24: Police of the town police station here arrested four people on the accusation of assaulting family members at their home.

According to complaint filed by Fayaz, son of late Ilyas, resident of Shivajinagar of Mardala, a stranger woman came to their home with a small kid, when his mother and brothers were at home and asked for the house of Riyaz in the evening on Thursday.

Though family members of Fayaz said that they did not know the house of Riyaz, the woman kept crying and stood near the home. Fayaz’s mother consoled her and sent her with neighbour boy Ibrahim to Mardala bus stand.

Accordingly, Ibrahim took the woman to Mardala bus stand in his scooter. Safiya, mother of Fayaz, who was on the spot tried to prevent the assault. The gang assaulted her also and threatened with life.
