Udupi, Jan 9: A young hotel manager residing in Atradi Parika, passed away suddenly due to a heart attack on Monday night.

Mahesh Shetty (28) is the deceased.

Shetty, employed as a manager in a renowned hotel in Mangalore, experienced sudden chest pain, leading to his admission to the hospital. Unfortunately, the treatment proved ineffective, and he succumbed to the heart attack.

Mahesh, who had recently completed a hotel management course, worked as a hotel manager in both Udupi and Mangaluru. He had previously managed a dance training institute, 'Dance Krive' in Atradi.

Since he was occupied with his managerial responsibilities, he was unable to attend to the dance classes. However, Mahesh had expressed his intention to resume leading dance classes in a WhatsApp status the day before the unfortunate incident.

He is survived by his father, mother, brother, and sister.
