Mumbai, Sep 10: The latest social media craze has taken a nostalgic turn, with celebrities across the television and film industries joining the viral ChatGPT 80s photo trend. The trend uses artificial intelligence to transform contemporary photographs into vintage-style images inspired by the fashion and aesthetics of the 1980s.
Among those joining the trend is actor Imran Khan. Aamir Khan's production house shared an AI-generated image featuring Imran along with several other artists. The picture appears to be inspired by the film 'Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na'.

Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra have also embraced the trend. Kiara shared a vintage-style AI-generated picture with her husband, with her dressed in pink while Sidharth sported a denim look.
Television actress Shweta Tiwari joined the trend with an AI-created image showing her in jeans and a shirt, giving her a youthful college-going appearance.
Actress Nitanshi Goel also shared an AI-generated 80s-inspired photograph in which she is seen in a white outfit with her hair left open.
Parineeti Chopra joined the trend by sharing vintage-style photographs with her husband, Raghav Chadha. Punjabi actress Sonam Bajwa also shared an AI-generated picture created by her fan page, featuring her in different 1980s-inspired outfits.
Actress Divya Dutta participated in the trend by resharing a vintage-style picture originally posted by Applause Entertainment. 'Panchayat' actor Faisal Malik also joined the craze, resharing an AI-generated image of himself sporting a large-collared outfit.
Nimrat Kaur shared an 80s-inspired photograph in a denim dress, while RJ Mahvash opted for a retro look featuring a pink shirt and green blazer.
With celebrities continuing to experiment with AI-generated visuals, the 80s trend has quickly become a popular way for social media users to revisit the fashion, styling and nostalgia associated with the decade.
