Kadaba, May 30: A youth of Koyila village of the taluk, who was employed overseas, killed himself by hanging on Sunday May 28.

The deceased is identified as Sandesh (32), an unmarried youth, son of the late Monappa Poojary, a resident of Sunnadi in Koyila village.

Sandesh was working as a line salesman in a water supply company of Muscat in the gulf state of Oman. His brother Santhosh is also employed in Muscat and both were residing in the same room. Their relative Charan was also working in Muscat and he was residing in another room.

It is said that Sandesh finished his work early and came back to the room and hanged himself. After a while, when Charan came to the room of Sandesh, the door was locked. As there was no response on knocking the door, a frightened Charan called Santhosh.

As one key of the room was with Santhosh, he opened the door and was shocked to see that his brother Sandesh was hanging from the fan. Family members said that the mortal remains will be sent to native place probably on Tuesday or Wednesday after the post mortem process as per rules in Oman are over.

Santhosh, elder brother of Sandesh, went to Muscat for employment seven years ago. Sandesh was working in a hotel in Chennai. Sandesh went to Muscat o visit visa initially. Later, he got the visa of Oman and was working on employment visa since eight months. The job was well paid one and the company was good. There were no hardships. Both brothers were very happy. Family sources said that Sandesh wrote a one-line death note saying ‘Sorry Anna (elder brother)’ before taking the extreme step. The exact cause for suicide is yet to be ascertained.

Om Shanti, Whatever the problems he might have faced should have discussed with his brother or friends might be family problem or work atmosphere, Anyone would have given a better suggestion but his mind might not have supported him to think all this. Taking step suicide is a wrong decision . Once you live your country try to get adjusted to the working atmosphere and try to mingle with the available friends and the life should go on , Otherwise go back to your country where you come from.

Though we can say easily that suicide is not the solution we don't know what was in his mind. Om Shanthi. People need to share their sorrows with their closed ones in order to avoid these kind of incidents. There is solution for everything.
