Mumbai, Mar 28: Vasanth Shetty Bellare, president of Tulu Siri organization, Delhi has called on various local organizations in Tulu land to visit houses, urge elected representatives in political programmes , hold planned campaigns and obtain written or public announcements from election candidates to support Tulu language in Karnataka state.

The efforts to include Tulu language in the eighth chapter at the centre were futile. Therefore, pro Tulu language candidates will be supported across party lines through internet media and twitter campaigns, he said.

The programme was held in digital media. Dr Rajesh Alva, head of digital media Tulu world network compered the programme. Leaders of Tulu language inside and outside the country and youngsters took part in the programme and expressed cooperation and support. .
