Jackpot

Jackpot
Egoistically colored peek-a- boo life,
I see, you see, we all see,
But none has given it a fee,
Came as jackpot and free,
Anytime ready to flee,
This is our tiny slot, to smile a lot, and be in glee.

An unknown authority went on to sign a deal,
To bring out the life from a stardust seal,
The screen of the universe desired to reveal,
Hence magical atoms of existence woke up to feel

Billion neurons of brain,
Speaking trillion stories of pleasure, pain and strain
In a land of sand, wind and rain,
The consciousness of life holding on to loss and gain

Bags of water and pockets of air,
Atoms of chemical forming masses of physical
Body of breath dressed up slow,
Owning awareness as miracle glow

Scaffolding of bony cage holding on to life until death age,
Fight, flight and freeze are survival feelings of fear and rage
Games of emotions are gifts of evolution
Stories of nation, tradition, relation and ambition had created the whole revolution

Art of body played with scribbled script of mind,
Living with delusion of dreams and illusion of views from limitations in perceptions
Gorgeous products of technology brought in by curious knowledge of necessity
My silent gratitude to the collective wisdom of folks for resolving the challenges of existence

Earth is our tiny room from mother’s womb to tomb,
Men juggle between bright bloom and dark gloom
Days of life come to an end too soon,
Against death none of us are immune

Thought bubble of cosmic pebble,
Born to experience life with all the trouble
Gray matter searched for answers on matter of universe
In my limited time, I found the unlimited joy by writing this rhyme

Neurons learned sympathy, empathy, compassion and turned humble,
Hence we could build civilized societies coming out of jungle
Living, giving and forgiving, being kind is an intelligent option,
Away from this sapien planet, there isn’t a known place for our adoption.
