UAE donates Dh 36.73 million worth PCR COVID-19 testing kits

Dubai, Jun 5: On Thursday, UAE announced that it had donated over USD 10 million (Dh 36.73 million) worth PCR COVID-19 testing kits to the World Health Organisation. The kits will help over 500,000 people.

The UAE has maintained that the donation has been made to support the global efforts of containing the spread of COVID-19 amid the scarcity of testing supplies in several countries.

So far, the UAE has contributed around 714 tonnes of medical aid to 63 countries in need.
