Dubai, Dec 13: On Wednesday, UAE roads were subject to clogging following heavy rains. However, this led to morning rush on Dubai-Sharjah routes on Thursday.

Earlier today, after the lashing of the rains, the city was covered with fog and different parts of UAE received a 'red' fog alert. The weather resulted in slowing down traffic on Dubai-Sharjah roads, including Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road, D62, S117 and E11.

Motorists were advised to reduce the speed limit and drive carefully as fog engulfed parts of UAE.
