Mangaluru: Absconding accused facing several cases arrested

Mangaluru, Sep 17: The district police have succeeded in arresting Kavith Poojary(29), resident of Thokkottu, who is wanted in six cases of assault, attempted murder and theft registered in Ullal police station. 

Kavith had been evading arrest since the last one and a half years, and had failed to appear in the court relating to attempted murder which happened within Ullal police station limits. The court had also issued an arrest warrant for him. 

The arrested accused has been handed over to Ullal police station after his arrest for further action. 

Mangaluru south anti rowdy squad police personnel arrested him as per the orders from Mangaluru south sub-division assistant police commissioner, T Kodandaram, and guidance of senior police officials.
