Kadaba, May 16: Lingappa Gowda (75), resident of Banthottu in Ramakunja village in the taluk, ended his life by hanging himself inside the cattle shed adjoining his house on Wednesday May 15.

It is suspected that Lingappa would have ended his life in the early hours on Wednesday after all the family members went to bed late night on Tuesday. The suicide came to light when the daughter-in-law of Lingpapa went to the cattle shed to milk the cows on Wednesday morning.

The family members said that Lingappa had been suffering from eyesight issues since the last some years and that even after recent surgery, his eyesight had not improved. He also was facing health issues like high blood pressure and diabetes. Frustrated with these problems, he would have decided to end his life, it is stated.

On the basis of complaint made by son of the deceased, Lokesh Gowda, Kadaba police have registered a case.
