Karkala, Apr 12: Nitte Mahalinga Adyanthaya Memorial Institute of Technology (NMAMIT), Nitte and M/s Kakunje Software Private Limited (KSPL), Mangaluru entered into a Memorandum of Understanding on April 9 at NMAMIT Campus.
The salient features of the MoU are working together on student internship, project work, industry supported courses to enrich the curriculum, skill development courses, research and consultancy. The realization of commercial products through indigenous research and development work is the highlight of the MoU.
The MoU was signed by Dr Niranjan N Chiplunkar, principal NMAMIT and Gopalakrishna Kakunje, director of KSPL in the presence of Dr Srinivasa Rao B R, vice-principal and controller of examinations, Dr A N Parameswaran, director of Institute-Industry interaction, Dr Shashikantha Karinka, head of Mechanical Engineering department and Dr Muralidhara, PG coordinator.
The MoU is expected to provide a win-win situation for students, faculty and also the industry.
