Mangaluru: LCS holds investiture ceremony for school cabinet members

Mangaluru, Jun 18: The newly selected school cabinet members were introduced through the investiture ceremony at Lourdes Central School (LCS) on June 14.

The programme began with a welcome speech given by Meghana Kashyap, followed by the lighting of the lamp by the manager Fr Wilson Vitus D’Souza, principal Fr Robert D’Souza, the vice principal Belita Mascarenhas, discipline in-charge Henry Mascarenhas, along with a student representative Vanshika Shetty. The oath taking ceremony commenced, duties were assigned and badges were distributed.

The principal addressed the gathering by emphasizing on how the cabinet acts as a role model for the students in the institution. The presidential address was delivered by Fr Wilson who laid importance on discipline and responsibility and how moulding one’s personality can help in the betterment of society.

Thus, the formal investiture ceremony came to an end with the newly appointed head girl Eva Jessica D’Souza rendering the vote of thanks.
