Udupi, Apr 6: 'Stemina Lubricants' an automotive and industrial lubricant manufacturing company, the first in the coastal region of Karnataka, was inaugurated and the product of the company was released in the market on Friday April 6.
The manufacturing unit was inaugurated by Stephen, Clara and Stalin Fernandes by cutting the ribbon, while Dr Henry D’Souza, bishop of diocese of Ballari blessed the new premises and sought God’s blessings for the new venture.
Fr Philip Neri Aranha, parish priest, St Peter’s Church, Barkur and Fr Victor Fernandes, parish priest, Holy Family Church, Brahmavar released the company's products on the occasion.
Jaison Dais of Mandavi Developers, Udupi, Dayanand Nayak, joint director, DIC, Manipal, Valerian Menezes, president, Catholic Credit Co – Operative Society, Brahmavar, Bhujanga Shetty, Talu Panchayath Member, Anand Naik, President, Nadoor Panchayath, were present on the occasion.
In his Inaugural speech, bishop of Ballari said, "I am glad to be here on this happy occasion. I congratulate Steevan, Leena and Stalin on their achievement. There are three types of people in the world; first are the achievers who strive to achieve something in their life in spite of difficulties. Second are the trouble makers who cheat others and cause trouble to others. Third are the useless people who are neither hard working people nor of use to anyone. Some achieve with whatever they have and also help others achieve something in their life. My advice to Steevan and his family is to work together and reach the pinnacle of success. Achievements do not have end. I wish good luck to this venture. May it be a successful one. May this company provide employment to many needy people and may it be a popular brand in the country.”
Dayanand Nayak, joint director, DIC, Manipal said, "I appreciate the efforts of Steevan and his family. He has worked hard to reach at this position. May this business grow in coming days. The government provides many incentives and concessions for ease of doing business to up-and-coming businessman. There are many rules and regulations to be followed for new business setup but the government has provided better ways to improve the process. The government has also made trade license easily accessible for smooth running of business."
Leena Fernandes welcome the gathering, Stalin Fernandes proposed the vote of thanks, Prasad Bhandary compered the program.
