Udupi, Dec 10: Anna Ardova, a Russian film actress, known predominantly for her work in the Russian film industry, visited city for 12-day long aurvedic treatment. She is regarded as one of the finest actresses of Russia, noted particularly for her excellence in acting.

She is known for her work in films like ‘Vysotsky: Thank God I'm Alive’ (2011), ‘Snow Queen’ (2012) and ‘All Inclusive 2’ (2011) and many more. She was also awarded the best leading women role for her performance in a comedy program in the year 2010.

Anna Ardova addressing the media persons said, "Yes it is my first visit to India. I wanted to come to India but work commitment and circumstances didn't allow me, but now I am in India. My dream has come true."

Speaking about the similarity in Indian and Russian culture, she said, "I admire the ancient culture of India. The similarity of India and Russia is that both the countries have lots of dirty streets and unfinished buildings along with leisurely people."

Speaking about Indian films and programs, she said, "In my childhood, I used to rush to watch Indian movies as it was famous in Russia. I love India movies."

Describing her taste in Indian movies, Anna said, "I would like to play role in Indian movies. Moreover, I do like Indian sari and dancing as well. I like famous actors like Dr Rajkumar and few others."

Asked on how she came to know about Udupi, Anna said, "I have attended lectures of Dr Tanmay. Then I found out about Udupi and this beautiful place. I love Ayurveda.

"Some years ago, I suffered from pancreatitis. One of my best friends introduced me to the India Ayurveda course for 3 month which magically cured my pancreatitis.

"Years ago I started doing yoga and came to know its significance. I never had so amazing treatment and rest in my life. I wish I come next time for more days," she said.

"Of course, the treatment helps immensely for people working in the field of cinema. I am happy to be an entertainer in comedy movies, but the work in film industry is stressful. Ayurveda treatment and rest helps in restoring mental health.

"Russians are good friends of Indians. We should visit each other. We generally come to India in winter and Indians should visit Russia in summer season. The future of Ayurveda and tourism in India is great. India being spiritually beautiful country is one of the best places for tourism. When you consider Ayurvedic health tourism, India is the Guru of Ayurveda to the world. Ayurveda is not just for physical health but also for healing mental health.

"I believe that it’s my duty too to promote rich Ayurveda. This should be nurtured and preserved," she added.

"Anna Ardova was in the city to undergo twelve-day panchakarma treatment at Gosval Pancha Karma and Health Resort, Moolur in Kaup. The treatment is carried out for rejuvenation of self and to regain youthfulness," said managing director of Panchakarma Health Centre Dr Tanmay Goswamy.

"Happiness lies in our soul, not in the outside world. Most of the comedians entertain audience, but they have a lot of pain in them. That creates stress and imbalance in hormones. We have given 12 days of treatment, considering her availability. We have rich culture, but it needs to be preserved. There is a kind of stereotype about Indian Ayurveda that it is dirty and not clean but people all over the world are getting educated about its importance," he said.

and this is what Steve Jobs 'understood' about India after his visit. ' Steve came to India as a teenager in search of enlightenment. He returned disappointed, following a brush with lice, scabies, dysentery and a near mob trashing after he pointed out at being sold watered down buffalo milk' ( Economic Times Oct 7th, 2011). To quote his own words ' Thomas Edison has contributed a lot more towards the development of mankind than Karoli Baba (Hindu Guru he wanted to meet who had passed away by the time Steve had come to India) and Mahathma Gandhi put together'. Steve was a great admirer of Mahathma. Many of his illusions about India that he had in his mind got dispelled after his visit.

    read during his Final Days..."
Marc Benioff, CEO of Salesforce.com, told his story of attending Steve Jobs' memorial
service, where the attendees were handed a small brown box on their way out. "This is going to be good," he thought.
"I knew that this was a decision he made, and whatever it was, it was the last thing he wanted us all to think about."
The box contained a copy of the book 'AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF A YOGI'. This was the only book he had in his iPad.

Truth is only one for human kind and nature is Jesus. Jesus says i am the way of life. He was died on cross for you and me then was buried and then he was risen. Jesus will come again to judge the living and the dead. This is the truth till the end of this earth. Hope you can read little about Jesus to know the truth. You will be touched the way he was died on cross and forever grateful to Jesus.
