Patna, Nov 14: The results of the Bihar Assembly elections are all set to be declared on Friday November 14. The votes will be counted at 46 counting centres across the 38 districts. The Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs), in which the electoral fortunes of all the candidates have been sealed, were kept under tight security in strong rooms. The counting will begin at 8 am.
The voting for the 243-member Bihar Assembly was held in two phases on November 6 and 11. The majority mark is 122.

The stage is now being set for the highly awaited results, which will determine whether chief minister Nitish Kumar’s JD(U)-BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) continues to hold power or whether Tejashwi Yadav’s RJD-led INDIA alliance replaces the nine-time chief minister.
Bihar recorded a voter turnout of 66.91 per cent in the second and final phase of voting for the Assembly elections on Tuesday, with all exit polls predicting a comfortable victory for the incumbent NDA.
Most exit polls have predicted a clear majority for the ruling NDA in Bihar, with one going as far as to project that it could win between 150 and 170 of the state's 243 seats.
