Mangaluru, Sep 13: A PUC student who was critically injured after falling down from a city bus a week ago and under treatment at a private hospital in Mangaluru was declared brain dead. His grieving parents have decided to donate his organs following this unfortunate incident.

Yashraj (16), the son of Ullal Mastikatte residents Tyagaraj and Mamata, who fell off a city bus on September 7 was a first year PUC student of computer science at St Aloysius P U college. He was travelling in the bus from Ullal Masthikatte NH66 when he got thrown out of it at Adam Kudru and suffered critical head injuries. He was admitted to the ICU of Indiana hospital for treatment. However, his condition had not improved even after a week’s treatment and he was declared brain dead in the afternoon of Tuesday, September 13.

His parents have consented to donate his organs. “The process of donations will take time. The hospital has not responded,” informed the hospital sources.

    These private buses permitted and licensed by the Karnataka Government have absolutely no safety or security features nor permissible passenger load capacity limitations. How can anyone fall from a moving bus on a highway. The bus operating company must be made liable for manslaughter. In other another advanced country where safety, security, and lives matter, these types of silly and fatal incidence does nit happen. Hope the Transport Dept will wake up to reality and regulating licensing public transport.

    Due to lack of development work.. Mp killed him.. Buss travelling in highway no doors.... Saying smart city. No doors in bus... Smart city.. All money in MLA's home and party fund.. When comunal violence happening giveing same money to them. Let mp and MLA's give money now this boy too.... Chief minister speaking in public dum... Dum.. Let stop this accidental killings

    Extremely sad to note the untimely demise of Yashraj. May the Lord grant strength to the Parents and family to bare the loss. Donating organs is a noble gesture at this hour of grief.

    A fine decision but hard.To let the son let go but he will live in someones heart or body .To save another or more lives is a big offer and joy May his soul rest in peace and bring many lives to life .God may bless his Parents .Heartfelt sympathies to them.So young .May God give courage to bear the pain of sons loss.
