Bantwal: Indian tri-colour lighting for Thumbe Dam, open for public viewing

Bantwal, Aug 12: The Thumbe Dam will be illuminated with the Indian tri-colour lights from August 13 to 15 between 6 pm and 9 pm to mark the Azadi Ka Amritha Mahotsava celebrations by the Mangaluru Mahanagara Palike.

This was announced by Mangaluru city mayor Premananda Shetty with the initiative taken jointly by MLAs Vedavyasa Kamath and Bharath Shetty.







 

The Thumbe Dam which provides for drinking water to the citizens of Mangaluru city will be illuminated and will be open for public to view the lighting between 6 pm and 9 pm from the basement of the Bantwal Bunt Bhavana, mayor Shetty said.
