Mangaluru, Aug 7: The night curfew has been withdrawn with effect from August 8 and all the shops including alcohol outlets can be opened as usual in the district including Mangaluru commissionarate.
However, other restrictions will continue under Section 144 till August 14.
For the past 10 days, night curfew had been imposed in the district following serial murders in the district.
Now since the situation returned to normalcy, the night curfew has been withdrawn.
