Udupi: Ambulance fails to reach – Family carries dead body through water

Udupi, Jul 3: Water has gushed into many houses in and around Udupi. In some areas, the people are unable to come out of the house as the area is completely inundated in water.

In a heart-rending instance, the relatives of a deceased person carried his mortal remains on their shoulders walking through the water as the ambulance could not come till the house. This incident has been reported from Mattudevara Kudru near Kaup.

The villagers who are upset over the situation, have urged the town municipality to get the road repaired immediately.

    kujuma Kodial,dont get excited ,dont blame anyone .Its long time we are now used to it since many years.Previously also they used to carry so.Pathatic state of our Govt.If ambulance was not able to come to the house because of water ?Pray a prayer to his soul and hope next year will be better .Sad .

    we are ready to pay Rs 500 for liter of petrol...we are ready to live in any harsh conditions as far as the bluejpigs are ruling....say some andh bhakts...
