Bengaluru, Jun 23: Karnataka on Thursday Jun 23 registered 858 new coronavirus cases.
As per the bulletin released by the state health department, the active cases in the state stand at 5,067. Bengaluru Urban's single-day tally stood at 820.
The death toll in the state has risen to 40,072.
The state recorded 682 discharges from hospitals on Thursday, taking the total discharges to 39,18,452.
So far, Karnataka has seen 39,63,633 positive cases since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.
The positivity rate for the day stands at 2.36%, case fatality rate at 0.11%.
So far 11,14,02,697 people have received vaccination so far.
