Pietersen Rejects Post-World Cup Retirement Speculation


London, Feb 14 (PTI): Flamboyant England batsman Kevin Pietersen has dismissed speculation that he would be retiring after the World Cup, saying he has no such intention. The 30-year-old batsman was reportedly contemplating retirement after the World Cup but he has rubbished the story.

"Just to set the record straight.. I have NO intention of retiring from ODI's after the World Cup!!" Pietersen wrote on twitter page. t was reported that Pietersen wanted to prolong his Test and Twenty20 career by quitting ODIs after the World Cup.

The explosive batsman has always maintained that he finds it tough to stay away from his family on long tours.
