Window glasses were shattered. The miscreants also reportedly painted the compound wall of the said house saffron.

In a complaint filed with the police, the family members said that on hearing the sound of the glass getting shattered, they opened the door and came out. Instantly, two motorbike-borne people fled from there, they stated.

Kumble police, who have registered a case, have provided protection to the house of the man. It may be recalled that Vittal police had registered a case against 25 persons including the said groom. Two persons have been arrested by them while the others are absconding.
