Mangaluru: Accident on Thokkottu flyover leads to traffic congestion

Mangaluru, Nov 2: An accident was reported between a lorry and an Omni van on the Thokkottu flyover here in the evening here on Thursday December 2.

It is said that tyre of a lorry transporting goods to Kerala got punctured on the flyover here.

When the lorry tyre was being replaced, a speeding Omni van rammed into it. No one was injured in the incident.

The accident led to traffic congestion on national highway 66 for several minutes. Traffic police from Naguri rushed to the spot and cleared the traffic.

    These traffic cops never check these trucks mostly which do not have proper tail light & also they do not on hazard light when parked at night at roadside.
