Mangaluru: Podar International School students join cleanliness drive

Mangaluru, Oct 5: Students of grades 9 and 10 of Podar International School, participated in a cleanliness drive around the school premises on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti.

The students collected litter and helped maintain a clean and hygienic environment as part of the initiative.

As part of the awareness programme, grade 9 students also conducted PowerPoint presentations for students of grades 1 and 2 on the importance of cleanliness and the ideals of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.

Through interactive visuals, the students encouraged the younger learners to develop good habits such as using dustbins, avoiding littering and keeping their surroundings clean.

The initiative aimed to create awareness among students about the importance of cleanliness and encourage them to take responsibility for maintaining a clean environment.
