Mumbai: MLC elections – Four candidates elected unopposed

Mumbai, Nov 27: Nana Patole, state Congress chief said that candidates of local bodies seats of Dhule-Nandubar and Kolhapur, in addition to two seats of Mumbai are elected unopposed for the Maharashtra Legislative council elections.

November 26 was the last day for withdrawal of nominations. The polls will be held on December 10 and counting will be held on December 14.

BJP and Congress facilitated the victories of their respective candidates in Kolhapur and Dhule-Nandurbar respectively. Nominees of Shiv Sena and BJP got elected unopposed in Mumbai.

Patole said that Congress will definitely win the Nagpur seat.
