Nov 25: DK reports 13 corona cases; Udupi adds 13 infections

Mangaluru/Udupi, Nov 25: Dakshina Kannada on Thursday, November 25 reported 13 new coronavirus cases. The case positivity rate for the district stands at 0.26%.

As per the district health bulletin, a total of 22,22,714 samples have been tested so far, out of which 21,06,914 have turned out to be negative.

The total number of positive cases in the district has risen to 1,15,800 out of which 115 are currently active.

As many as 13 patients were discharged from hospitals on Thursday, taking the total number of recoveries to 113992.

The death in the district on Thursday is nil. The death toll in the district so far stands at 1,693.

The district administration has collected Rs 1,07,79,070 in fines for 88,862 mask violations.

Udupi

As per the district health bulletin, as many as 12,60,986 samples have been tested for the second wave of coronavirus.

As many as 13 new cases were reported on Thursday, taking the total number of cases to 76,853 out of which 57 are currently active.

A total of 7 patients were discharged from hospitals on Thursday, taking the total number of recoveries to 76,320 for the second wave.
