Mangaluru, Sep 21: Out of the 32 students from Dakshina Kannada district who rejected the second PU result announced by the government earlier and opted to face the examination afresh, one has failed to clear the examination. Therefore his hope to get a better result by challenging the earlier one has been dashed.

All the 25 from science stream who challenged the earlier result and faced the examination afresh, and all the three from arts stream who rejected the earlier result, succeeded in passing the examination.

A total of 1,067 students from Dakshina Kannada including private and repeaters had appeared for the examination. Only 528 among them cleared the examination and posted a result of 49.48 percent for the district.

Out of the 1,032 private students, only 494 succeeded in clearing the examination and all the three repeaters also passed. As many as 64.45 percent girls and 39.14 percent boys passed the examination.

Agree. Some of the back benchers become Entrepreneurs. From my batch i have seen few them become successful businessmen. Front benchers get a job but do not make a lot of money.

There is a general notion that if you fail an exam, you have failed in life. That's not true. Life gives a lot of diversity and opportunities and various means to achieve goals - education is one part of it. So, don't lose hope. Every failure is a stepping stone for something big going to happen in life.

Those who have failed, may have to their bad luck could not get a chance to malpractice. If any out standing students gets poor marks then there could be reason to believe. For those who prepare them selves to secure just pass marks its frustration and a lesson.

Definitely one should know or have a fair idea of his capabilities. The extent he can go. The maximum he can stretch. Ambition and hope is another matter altogether. Look at Rahul Gandhi to clearly understand what I mean... Just an example of reappearing again and again and again despite failing.... Got it no in the context?
