This is the effect of a non-experienced DC given responsibility of a decent district. Cases being nearly 100/day there is no need for a weekend curfew. Does corona only spread in weekend? Doesn't it affect poor people who live on roads and doesn't wear masks. This seems to be a big scam. They have kept corona in their pockets, whenever they feel they remove it and impose lockdown. Worst administration ever!!!

Lockdown has become a routine affair, the govt is so eager to implement lockdown. Hotels, shops get bussiness on weekends. Even kerala does not impose weekend curfew, inspite of rising cases. In udupi the positive cases r so low, still weekend curfew is implemented. These politicians, babus get paid on time. Also they can enjoy weekend in some farmhouse. What about the common people.

This is turning into nuisance, with less than 100 cases we are going for weekend curfew. Its 1 and half year of people sitting in and the cases are still there. We need to learn to live with it rather than go for forever lockdown.

US, UK & EU had highest covid rate with thousands loosing their lives everyday, yet they brought the whole covid crisis under control how did they achieve it ? by aggressive vaccination by aggressive night curfew without day curfew within short period of time and i heard through my friends in US that people don't venture unnecessarily unless required. that's called as real govt the govt that functions properly, so people of those countries know how to elect right leaders to lead the nations.

Subash: We can avoid non essential travel for few months only.We cannot avoid non essential travel for life long.Wearing mask or shield and physical distance and hand wash and Healthy diet and exercise are the only options to end this pandemic...Getting proper covid treatment as early as possible can save lives without any complications.Let avoid super spreading gatherings for 6 months..Next year covid will be under control and life will be back to normal if we practice these preventive measures seriously.
