Mangaluru, Aug 31: MLA U T Khader said that the state government and district administration are ‘out of order’ and not reachable.

Addressing media here on Tuesday August 31, Khader said, “The government does not think practically before releasing SOPs. Once the meeting is conducted, no one is bothered about the outcome of the meeting or the implementation of rules. During the meeting, the chief minister had ordered to release Rs 2 lac for gloves, mask and kits for health workers. But so far, the fund has not been released. No proper salaries or incentives are given to the ASHA workers who are working relentlessly.

“The government and district administration should think practically before releasing any SOPs. The government is out of order as the notification for new ration card, Aadhar card and Ayushman Bharat card application has been stopped,” he said.

District Congress president Harish Kumar said, “The government should release SOPs for Ganesh Chaturthi immediately. If they announce rules at the last moment, that will lead to panic. When Jan Ashirwad Yatra was allowed and 400 people permitted for wedding, then why Ganesh Chaturthi festival is not allowed.”
